Leadership
With a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Dayalbagh College, Agra and over 50 years experience in the Indian E&P industry, Satish Chander Mittal is responsible for the overall guidance and stewardship of the Samit Group. With over 3 decades of working experience with India’s leading national oil company, ONGC followed by the next two decades in the private sector where he led their onshore and offshore drilling operations and serving as a Non-Executive Director on the board of Tata Petrodyne, he brings immense credibility and direction to this group.

An engineering graduate from IIT Mumbai with MS from Penn State University, USA and Gold Medalist in PGDBM, IMI, New Delhi, Sanjeev founded the Samit Group of companies in 1990 and has been leading its growth in India since inception. His education and work experience in the R&D division of Baroid Corporation, USA followed by over twenty five years of business management in India, provides him with the skills to manage operations for group companies doing business all across the world.

With over 25 years of Industry experience, Subhransu Sekhar has a track record of solving tough business and technical problems. He excels in team management, strategic planning and project management. Sekhar has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MBA degree in Project Management. He has worked with several National & Multi National companies including Silicon Graphics, inc. as Country Manager-Services for India for over 10 years.
Subhransu Sekhar

Pranaya has an MBA in Operations Research and Doctorate in Geophysics from IIT. He has 35 years of experience in onshore + offshore hydrocarbon exploration, development and production. He has served ONGC, NOC of India and Reliance where he rose from Geophysicist to VP. He has been instrumental in many oil and gas discoveries, field development plans, arresting the production declines and conceptualizing large technical projects. He brings with him a vast experience in PSC, JV and Organization management.
